Yoga

and meditation

Through engaging in embodied movement, we can become more connected to our ourselves, feel more present in our lives and cultivate emotional stability. There are many things that disconnect us from our bodies such as trauma, societal expectations and diet culture. Trauma informed yoga can help repair the relationship with the body, decrease shame and heal old wounds.

A trauma informed yoga practice is designed to enhance the mind-body connection and increase body awareness. As a mental health professional, I facilitate a practice that emphasizes the importance of both physical and emotional safety for my students. Through gentle movement, we will find new ways for you to connect with - and make peace with - the body that you’re in.

I am a Kripalu trained yoga teacher (RYT 200 Hour) offering private individual and group sessions. Embodiment sessions run 60 minutes in length and take place virtually and/or in-person in downtown Peekskill, NY.
